1of 10 singles out

Ten techno tracks by Cytrex, released one by one, each with its own visualizer. The music is made with Suno and credited as machine generated. The pictures are not generated: every frame is a shader Cypher wrote for that one track, reading the track's separated stems while it plays. No stock footage, no video model.

Zooming into the Fractal

Cover of Zooming into the Fractal: the word Cytrex above the title
Single 1 · 30 October 2026 · 145 BPM

A fall into infinity that never reaches the bottom. The Mandelbrot zoom returns in every section, each time deeper than before: nine orders of magnitude by the last bar, computed with perturbation so it stays sharp all the way down. In between, a Menger corkscrew tunnel, a Julia set shaped by the melody, and a Newton fractal on the acid peak.

Next: Neon Rain Warning, on 6 November 2026.

How a track becomes a picture

Measure first, then write

  1. Tempo and downbeat, measured against the kick
  2. Form read bar by bar from the stems
  3. A second listener another model describes what it hears
  4. Script written bar by bar
  5. Stills every program photographed before anything is recorded

shader programs written for these tracks
Counted on 19 October 2026 over the ten videos.

Each track is first measured: tempo and downbeat against the kick, then its form bar by bar from the separated stems (kick, bass, keys, synth, vocals). A second model listens and describes it in words, and a script is written bar by bar. Then the programs are built, four for most tracks, and every one of them is photographed as still frames before a single second is recorded. Several tracks needed a second or third round because the stills said so.

In the finished video every element answers to a stem: in Cave Drip each keyboard note is a drop falling into black water, in Night Forest Groove the mycelium under the forest floor pulses with the bass.
